My laboratory is currently focused on three major projects. Two of these share a common theme of structure/function relationships among force-generating nucleotide hydrolases. The third project represents a new direction for the lab, involves a newly formed collaboration with Ron Taylor’s group at the medical school, and focuses on the structural analysis of bacterial virulence transcriptional regulators necessary for infection by Vibrio Cholerae, the bacterium responsible for the disease cholera. |
